10 Feminine WordPress Themes For Your Blog
I think we can all agree that first impressions are pretty important when it comes to branding. It’s true that your blog’s content is one of the most important ingredients to success but the appearance of your blog matters a great deal as well. Below I want to share some of the best WordPress themes I’ve come across lately. These themes are perfect for beginners and experienced WordPress users alike.

Why Is Your Theme Important?
Your theme is your blog’s packaging. Just like any product the packaging is your first impression and it can either encourage visitors to read your content or turn them off completely. I can’t tell y’all how many blog critiques I’ve done where the person’s theme is outdated or how many blogs I’ve clicked away from because they have too much going on. Your theme is your chance to say everything about your blog and brand without saying anything. The fonts and graphics you use combined with your theme tell your story and give visitors an idea of the type of blogger you are. Don’t ever waste that first impression.
How Do Themes Work?
You upload themes in the admin section of your WordPress installation. There are many tutorials on uploading your theme and almost every theme comes with documentation that explains exactly how to install it and customize it to your liking. If you’ve never used WordPress before there is a learning curve but, you’ll eventually get the hang of it.
I’m constantly changing the themes of every blog I manage and while that’s a lot, I can’t seem to help myself.
What themes do I recommend?
I really like this theme because it’s cute, simple, and you can add a shop with Woocommerce if you want to sell products. I also love that photos can show up vertically which is great for those of you with photography focused and fashion blogs.
This theme is by the wonderful couple that runs Bluchic. I’ve talked about them several times on the blog because I really do love their themes. I purchased Marilyn and I used it for a long time on my personal blog before switching to something new.
