There was a time when my life revolved around health and fitness. It was a very long time ago but I vaguely remember it. Now that I’m trying to get back to that point in my life I’m using Tumblr, Instagram & several Brown Girl Bloggers to keep me motivated. Here are three that I follow. I’ve been following Kai on Youtube and Tumblr for quite some time now. I love how she clearly explains how to do each exercise and how it helps you. Form is so important so using her tutorials helps a lot. She isn’t so focused on being sexy* like a lot of the other Brown Girl Bloggers I see. She’s more focused on the technique.

*There’s nothing wrong with a sexy Brown Girl Blogger :)



I love that there is a group of black women coming together for a common goal and educating the community. This site is full of simple recipes that are healthy and delicious.

Stylish Girl Fit


You’ve got to love a blogger who knows her worth but doesn’t take herself too seriously. I love this blog because of the exercises, the food and Rochelle. She’s a breath of fresh air.
