Regardless, the year is ending which means another year is fast approaching. We always look at this time of year as a time to prepare for a fresh start. For me it’s a time to set new goals for the upcoming year.
I won’t go down the entire list of goals I have but there are a few. Professionally, I want to grow my business Social Creative Studios, grow Brown Girl Bloggers, bog regularly on my personal blog and grow another semi secret site that I’ve been working on for quite some time. I say semi secret because it’s out there but my name isn’t attached to it yet.
I know it can be hard to set goals so today I want to talk about it a bit.
Before you can set your goals you need to identify the reason you blog. What do you hope to gain? Who do you want to read your blog? What type of growth do you want? What are your financial goals?
Once those questions are answered you can start defining you goals. Please keep in mind that your goals and the timetables for those goals have to be REALISTIC. It’s sucks to say but blogging success usually doesn’t happen over night. It takes time and dedication to build. To start deciding your goals think about what has worked for you in the past, figure out where you want to be at the end of the year and make S.M.A.R.T. goals. <— read this more in-depth blog setting post on my blog.
